Dr Jacob has over 22 years’ GP experience across Nigeria, Lesotho, Namibia and Canada. He completed his MBBS in Nigeria and postgraduate family-medicine training in Cape Town, then began Australian practice in Townsville in 2022.

His background includes paediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology and dermatology. He holds musculoskeletal-medicine and skin-cancer-management qualifications and Canadian Medical Council registration.

Born in Korea and raised in Canada, Dr Laura graduated from the University of Queensland. Her hospital and surgical-registrar training included Brisbane’s Mater Hospital and Townsville University Hospital.

She subsequently practised in Toowoomba and trained junior doctors. A RACGP Fellow with an aesthetic-medicine certificate, her interests include skin-cancer care, women’s health, surgical conditions and procedures.

Dr Agbasale’s medical career spans over 20 years. He graduated from Ilorin in 2003, trained in general practice at Witwatersrand and began practising in Armidale in 2016.

His experience includes paediatrics, emergency and internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology. He is a RACGP Fellow with HIV-management certification.

Dr Sonia has practised for over 14 years across Nigeria, the UK and Australia. Her UK postgraduate experience included Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, a DRCOG and GP training. She later gained FRACGP in Australia.

Her interests span pregnancy and postnatal care, menopause, contraception, cervical screening, fertility, children’s health, chronic disease, mental health, lifestyle and weight management, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, skin checks, cryotherapy and minor procedures. She is undertaking further skin-cancer training.

Outside work, she enjoys travel, food, family and knitting.

Known to patients as Dr Maria, Dr Okamaria Kanu trained and practised in the United Kingdom before relocating to Australia. Her interests include women’s health, children’s health, family medicine, mental health, preventive care and cervical screening.

She has over ten years’ experience, including practice in the West Midlands. She values shared decisions, continuity and culturally respectful care. Her interests also include reproductive health and weight management.

Outside medicine, she enjoys fashion, food, storytelling and family time.

UK-trained Dr Odike is a RACGP Fellow with a surgical background and over a decade in general practice, including work on the Central Coast.

His interests include family, child and adolescent health, mental health, chronic disease, emergency medicine and minor surgery.

Languages: English, Pidgin English and Igbo.

Peter designs targeted exercise programs to support the management of chronic conditions, injury recovery, and the development of strength and confidence. Programs are tailored to the individual’s needs and goals.
